I'm Lucy — an Adelaide photographer and mother to two beautiful little boys. Long before I picked up a camera professionally, I trained as an early childhood educator, holding both a Certificate III and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, alongside further qualifications in supporting children with disability and autism. That foundation shapes the way I work to this day — quietly, patiently, always at the child's pace. I understand how to meet little ones where they are, draw out a real laugh rather than a posed one, and hold space for whatever the day decides to bring.


Becoming a mother changed photography for me, completely. I know intimately what it is to be the parent always behind the camera — the one who somehow never quite makes it into the frame. When you book a session with me, the whole family is in the images, mama included. I'm not simply a photographer; I'm a quiet archivist of your family's everyday — the moments that will mean the most to you twenty years from now. The grand ones, of course. But more than that, the smallest ones. The way your toddler reaches for you. The look your partner gives you when no one else is watching. That, I believe, is where the real magic lives.


A few practical things — particularly important if you are considering a newborn or fresh 48 session. I am fully vaccinated, which I believe to be non-negotiable when caring for brand-new babies, and I hold current infant and adult CPR certifications. Your little one is in safe, qualified hands. Lucy is an exceptional photographer and human. We have had two shoots with her this past year- she is easy-going, professional and fun. the first shoot our daughter was exceptionally clingy and Lucy captured these cuddly moments beautifully and was quick to capture the brief moments she left my arms- making it appear as though our toddler was having a good time. We adore these photos. The second shoot started the same, with our daughter not leaving my arms, Lucy’s efforts to interact instantly put her at ease and within minutes she was playful, spinning and dancing. Lucy is a pro and the photos are even better than the last.

Lucy is an amazing photographer and I cannot recommend highly enough to capture your most treasured moments. I had a beach shoot with my 16 month old son who was quite shy and clingy at first, but Lucy was able to bring him out of his shell and by the end of the shoot he was strutting around without a care! His first time on the sand and water was captured with such natural talent, getting the right locations to capture the lighting of a perfect sunset.

Lucy will make you feel at ease and has such a warm and kind energy which makes the shoot feel like just hanging out with a friend. Lucy had great communication from start to finish and was very flexible to adjust timings for stormy forecasts.
